      2. A brief life history of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S).

Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) was born in Iraq about four thousand years ago. His father Azar was a religious leader who used to make idols and sell them.

Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) opposed the worship of idols from his childhood.

After openly opposing the idols of Hazrat Ibrahim (as), they were threatened to be killed and thrown out of the house. Hazrat Ibrahim (as) entered a place of worship and smashed all the idols except the big idol. Which is mentioned in the Holy Quran. ۔ And then there was a debate with King Nimrod.

Instead of considering the logical answer of Hazrat Ibrahim (as) in the debate, the royal decree was issued to burn him and help your gods. Hazrat Ibrahim (as) was thrown into the fire of Nimrod but by the command of Allah Almighty The fire became a thing of peace and comfort for Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S). The extent of the misfortune of this nation was that in spite of witnessing such a great miracle, not a single man believed. So Hazrat Ibrahim (as) left Iraq and went to Syria. From there he went to Palestine and settled there permanently, making it the center of invitation.

Once Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) went to Egypt with his wife Sarah (R.A). The king offered Hajra (R.A) to serve Sarah, she had no children at that time. Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) returned to Palestine from Egypt. Hajra (R.A) was married to Hazrat Ibrahim (as). In her old age, Hazrat Ishmael (as) was born from the womb of Hazrat Hajra (R.A). Some time later, Hazrat Ishaq (as) was born from the womb of Hazrat Sarah (R.A).

Hazrat Ismail (as) and Hazrat Ishaq (as) are his two sons and successors. The nation of Israel from which many of God’s prophets were sent, just as the lineage of Mary, the mother of Hazrat Essa (A.S), goes back to Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) through Hazrat Ishaq (A.S).

In the Qur’an, the construction of the Ka’bah and the invitation of the people to Hajj are attributed to Hazrat Ibrahim and he is called Khalilullah i.e the friend of Allah. According to the Qur’an, after making Ibrahim sacrifice his son in various trials, God gave him the position of Imamate in addition to prophecy.

Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) passed away at the age of 179 or 200 in the Palestinian city of Hebron, now called Hebron.

The duty of Hajj is one of the basic and most important duties of the Muslim Ummah and it is fulfilled on Eid-ul-Adha. From the beginning of Hajj to the sacrifice, every member of Khalilullah Ibrahim (as) and his family to follow some action name is.

Eid-ul-Adha commemorates a very sincere worship of Hazrat Ibrahim and Hazrat Ismail (as). In the Holy Qur’an, the deeds and events of the life of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) have been given a special dignity and importance and the religious call of our Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) has been equated with the Ibrahamic nation and the Hanafi religion:

“This nation belongs to your father Ibrahim.” And in another place he said:

Say: My Lord has guided me to a straight path. That is, the way of Ibrahim (peace be upon him) that he belonged to the same God. ”

     3. What is Hajj and why Hajj is important?

    A.The House of Allah:

Allah presented the life of Hazrat Ibrahim (as) in the Holy Qur’an as ‘Uswa Hasana’ so that his deeds would be safe forever and the Muslim Ummah would follow him.

      B.Safa Marwa’s effort.

Ishmael (A.S) was very dear and beloved. It was only at the age of drinking milk that by the command of Allah Almighty, Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) brought his wife Hajra (R.A) and infant Ishmael to the barren and desolate land of the Holy Hijaz where there was no sign of water to drink. Here they started leaving their mother and son, so the wife also submitted to the command of Allah Almighty.

Shortly after, when the food and water ran out and the child began to cry with the intensity of thirst, the mother became restless and in a state of anxiety began to run from Safa to Marwa and from Marwa to the hill of Safa, may be there was a spring or See a caravan to ask for water. Allah called this running an endeavor and made it obligatory on the pilgrims.

      C.Zam Zam.

Hazrat Hajra (R.A) was in such a dilemma when she saw that on the hot land of Arabia where Hazrat Ishmael (A.S) was lying down, a fountain appeared when he rubbed his heels with the intensity of thirst, this is the same spring Zam zam which Despite the passage of time, the world is still irrigated and has the status of the most important blessing for the pilgrims of Baitullah. It is said that there is healing in this water and the cure for every disease except the severity of death. Possible with water.

      D.Sacrifice.

Some time later, when Ismael (A.S) started walking and reached the age of running, Hazrat Ibrahim (as) saw his son being slaughtered in a dream. The dream of the prophets is in the order of revelation. He left Palestine for Makkah to sacrifice his son in the name of God. Isn’t it easy to imagine slaughtering a son, but the eye of the beholder saw that Ibrahim (A.S) left no stone unturned in obeying the divine command. The son also willingly prepared and conveyed the message of patience and perseverance to the father. Blindfolded, he stabbed his son in the neck, but Allah saved Ismail from being slaughtered. He sent a ram instead and ordered the knife to be slaughtered.

In the Qur’an, Allah describes this incident in Surah As-Saaffat as follows:

And We substituted it for a great sacrifice.

According to some historians, this means the sacrifices that take place every year all over the world.

      E. Pebble the Shatan.

When Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) did not take his son with him for sacrifice, Shatan seduced him in 3 places on the way and tried to stop him from obeying the divine command. In these places he hit Shatan with 7+7 pebbles. By making it a part of Hajj, the most important act of worship in Islam, Allah not only preserved the remembrance of Ibrahim (A.S) and these events, but also made it a means of inner purification, purification of hearts and nearness to God.

      F. Construction of Baitullah.

It was only a short time after the incident of sacrifice that Allah Almighty ordered Hazrat Ibrahim (as) to build the House of Allah. Hazrat Ibrahim (as) and Ismael (as) used to lift the walls of the Ka’bah with gusto and at the same time pray sincerely and sincerely. O Allah! Accept this service of ours and teach us the ways of your worship. And pray to Allah Almighty which Allah Almighty has described in the Holy Quran in this way.

“Our Lord! Make us both submissive to Thy command, and make a nation submissive to our offspring, and teach us the rules of our worship (and Hajj), and look upon us (for mercy and forgiveness). He is the Most Acceptor of Repentance, the Most Merciful. Our Lord! Send among them (the last and chosen) Messenger (peace be upon him) who will recite to them Your verses and teach them the Book and Wisdom (and make them a secret) and their (souls and hearts). Purify him, for Thou art the Mighty, the Wise.

The above two verses are the supplications of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) and Ismael (A.S) in the presence of God, the Lord of Glory, when they raised the walls of the Ka’bah during the construction of the House on God’s command. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

“I am pray of my father Ibrahim.”

When the construction of the Ka’bah was completed, Allah Almighty ordered Ibrahim (sws) to announce among the people the pilgrimage to this.Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) said: Lord, how can my voice reach the people outside this desert? Allah Almighty said, “It is your job to announce and it is my power to convey it to the people.”

Therefore, it is narrated that Ibrahim (as) ascended the hill and shouted and ordered the people to visit the house of Allah and Allah not only conveyed this announcement to the people present in the world at that time but also the world till the Day of Resurrection. The souls who came to me also heard this proclamation and the one who was destined for the bliss of Hajj said Labeek. Understandably pay every year.
