1.Dua for waking up and going to sleep.

 It is narrated on the authority of Huzafa(R.A)

 that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to place his right hand under his right cheek when he went to bed at night and recite this dua.

 
 2. What is Dua for sleeping?

     اللَّهُمَّ بِاسْمِکَ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا ۔

  3.What is the Dua you say when wake up?
   

       When Muhammad (pbuh) woke up, recite this dua.

   Every Muslim should take care of this.

         الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ۔ 

 Reading at bedtime.

 Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to go to his bed, he would blow on both his hands and after reciting the Mu’awzaat, he would place both hands on his body.

   5.Dua for waking up for Tahajjud.

 When you wake up for Tahajjud prayers, recite this dua.

   

    اَللّٰھُمَّ لَکَ الْحَمْدُ اَنْتَ قَیِّمُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِیْھِنَّ وَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ اَنْتَ نُوْرُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِیْھِنَّ وَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ اَنْتَ مَلِکُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِیْھِنَّ وَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ اَنْتَ الْحَقُّ وَ وَعْدُکَ الْحَقُّ وَلِقَائُوکَ حَقّ’‘ وَّقَوْلُکَ حَقّ’‘ وَّالْجَنَّۃُ حَقّ’‘ وَّالنَّارُ حَقّ’‘ وَّالنَّبِیُّوْنَ حَقّ’‘ وَّالسَّاعَۃُ حَقّ’‘ اَللّٰھُمَّ لَکَ اَسْلَمْتُ وَبِکَ اٰمَنْتُ وَعَلَیْکَ تَوَکَّلْتُ وَاِلَیْکَ اَنَبْتُ وَبِکَ خَاصَمْتُ وَاِلَیْکَ حَاکَمْتُ فَاغْفِرْلِیْ مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا اَخَّرْتُ وَمَا اَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا اَعْلَنْتُ وَمَا اَنْتَ اَعْلَمُ بِہٖ مِنِّیْ اَنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ وَاَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ لَااِلٰہَ اِلَّااَنْتَ لَااِلٰہَ غَیْرُکَ ۔

 Translation:

        O Allah! All praise is due to You, You are the Sustainer of the heavens, the earth and their creatures. Praise be to you. You are the light of the heavens, the earth and their creatures, and praise be to you, you are the king of the heavens, the earth and their creatures, and praise be to you. You are the truth, your promise is the truth, your meeting is the truth, your word is the truth, heaven is the truth, hell is the truth, all the prophets are the truth. Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the truth. Resurrection is the truth. O Allah! I have obeyed you, I have believed in you, I have trusted in you, I have turned to you, I fought (my opponents) with your help and I gave the decision to you ۔ So forgive me my past and present sins. The sins that I hid, and the sins that I confessed, and the sins that you know better than I do. You are the one who moves forward and you are the one who moves back, God is the only one and there is no god but you.

      If you have a dream while sleeping,wake up and recite this dua.

 Many times in a dream a person sees things which seem bad and painful to interpret. What should be done after seeing such a dream? In this regard, by following the guidelines given in the hadiths of the Prophet, man can be saved from anxiety and panic and can also be protected from the evil tricks and evil end. It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir that the Holy Prophet The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

 “When any one of you has a dream which he dislikes, he should spit three times on his left side and seek refuge in Allah from Shatan three times and he should change the aspect which he had before.” 

  

    6. Dua for waking up due to Bad dreams.

 The teaching of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is that if you ever have bad dreams, your eyes should be opened and you should immediately spit on the left side three times. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) taught that the first thing to be done is to spit on the left side and drive away the Shaytaan so that he does not carry his poison anymore. And since man is weak, and without the protection and help of Allah, he cannot overcome the devil and be safe from it, then recite this supplication three times in order to get the refuge of Allah by repelling him.

   
’’ اعوذ باللہ من الشیطان الرجیم ‘‘ 

 

      So that he may get a strong siege of Allah’s protection and he may escape from the evil of Satan and go to the shadow of divine protection.

 The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

 The good dream is from Allah and the bad dream is from Shaitan (Satan). So if any one of you has a bad dream which is not to be feared, then let him go to his left side and seek refuge in Allah from his evil. Nothing will hurt. “

 In another narration, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is quoted as saying:

 “When one of you has an unpleasant dream, he should change his mind and turn to the left three times and ask Allah for the good of this dream and seek refuge in Allah from its evil.”

 In the light of the above two traditions, after spitting on the left side, say these words three times:

  اَعُوْذُ بِاللّٰہِ مِنَ الشَّیْطٰنِ الرَّجِیْمِ وَمِنْ شَرِّھٰذِہِ الرُّؤیَا ، اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْألُکَ خَیْرَہَا وَ اَعُوْذُ بِکَ مِنْ شَرِّہَا ۔
 

 “I seek refuge in Allah from the devil and the evil of this dream. O Allah, I seek his good and seek your refuge from his evil.”

 Also, the du’aa ‘that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) taught in the event of falling asleep should be recited.

   
أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ غَضَبِهِ وَعِقَابِهِ وَشَرِّ عِبَادِهِ، وَمِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ وَأَنْ يَحْضُرُونِ ۔

 “I seek refuge in Allah’s wrath, the eagle, the mischief of His servants, the satanic whispers and the coming of these (devils) to us with all the words of Allah.”

 And read these words with the belief that Shatan cannot break the siege of Allah’s protection and nothing can happen against Allah’s will.

 After reading these words, the aspect in which the nightmare is seen should be changed, because the change of the crotch creates vitality in the nature as well as the good fortune that Allah, by His grace, changed the scene of the nightmare to good.

     7. Dua for good day.

    
اَللّٰهُمَّ بِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا وَ بِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا وَ بِكَ نَحْيٰى وَ بِكَ نَمُوْتُ وَ إِلَيْكَ النُّشُوْرُ.

 Translation:

 O Allah! By Thy power we entered in the morning, and by Thy power we entered into the evening, and by Thy power we live and die, and unto Thee is the resurrection of the dead.

    
    أَصْبَحْنَا وَ أَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ. اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْئَلُكَ خَيْرَ هٰذَا الْيَوْمِ فَتْحَهُ وَ نَصْرَهُ وَ نُوْرَهُ وَ بَرَكَتَهُ وَ هُدَاهُ وَ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِيْهِ وَ شَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهُ.
     َ

 Translation:

 We and the whole country belong to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. We entered in the morning. O Allah! I ask you for the good of this day, that is, the victory and help of this day, and the light and blessing and guidance of this day, and I seek refuge in you from the evil of that which is in this day and that which is to come after it. ۔

     8. Dua when the sun rises.
   

   اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ أَقَالَنَا يَوْمَنَا هٰذَا وَ لَمْ يُهْلِكْنَا بِذُنُوْبِنَا.

 Translation:

 All praise is due to Allah, Who has forgiven us today, and has not destroyed us for our sins.
