1.Dua for travelling.
When any person start to travel, come out of from the house and recite this dua:
بسم اللّٰہ توکلت علی اللّٰہ، ولاحول ولاقوۃ الاباللّٰہ، الہم انی اعوذبک أن أضلَّ أو أُضََّ ، أو اُزَلَّ ، أو أظلم أو اُظلم، أوأجھل أویجھل علیّ‘‘ ۔
When sit in vehicle recite this dua:
اللّٰہُ اکبر، اللّٰہ اکبر، اللّٰہ اکبر، ﴿سبحان الذی سخرلنا ہذا وماکنا لہ مقرنین وانا الی ربنا لمنقلبون۔
2. Dua when travelling.
When start journey recite this masnun dua this is real dua that our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) recite when start journey.
3. Dua for travelling in Arabic.
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنَّا نَسۡأَلُكَ فِيۡ سَفَرِنَا هَذَا الۡبِرَّوَالتَّقۡوٰي وَمِنَ الۡعَمَلِ مَا تَرۡضٰي اَللّٰهُمَّ هَوِّنۡ عَلَيۡنَا سَفَرَنَا هٰذَاوَاطۡوِعَنَّابُعۡدَهُ اَللّٰهُمَّ أَنۡتَ الصَّاحِبُ فِيۡ السَّفَرِوَالۡخَلِيۡفَةُ فِيۡ الۡأَهۡلِ اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيۡ أَعُوۡذُ بِكَ مِنۡ وَعۡثَاءِ السَّفَرِ وَكَآبَةِ الۡمَنۡظَرِ وَسُوۡءِ الۡمُنۡقَلَبِ فِيۡ الۡمَالِ وَالۡأَهۡلِ.
4. Dua for travelling in English.
O Allah, surely we are of aurtquy good to you during this trip they ask you to do that which pleases. O Allah, grant us this journey easy for us and wrapped her away, O God, you fly in (our) companion is traveling and pains and sorrow .O God is the guardian of the house! the scene and their property and seek refuge from the evil of those who return home.
Traveling is very important for life. Man fulfillment of everyday needs, is why does the displacement to meet the family and relatives living in the future that Islam has given so many relaxation for those people who go for journey. Here are a few etiquettes and rules in this regard:
5. What does Prophet Muhammad( pbuh) say about travel?
First of all perform Nmaz of. istikhar.After namaz recite Sunnah dua and then start travel according to way of prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
The traveler should arrange for the sustenance of the family before traveling. It is not permissible for anyone to be negligent in this regard. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
The traveler must ask permission from the parents before starting the journey. If the parents give permission then start the journey otherwise stop the journey. It is narrated on the authority of Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri that a man migrated from Yemen in the service of the Prophet (peace be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) asked him: “Do you have any relatives?” He said: “Yes! My parents are there. ‘The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:’ Have your parents allowed you to emigrate? ‘He said: No. If they give permission, then do jihad, otherwise treat them kindly.
6. Dua for see off for the family.
أَسۡتَوۡدِعُ اللّٰهَ دِيۡنَكُمۡ وَأَمَانَتَكُمۡ وَخَوَاتِيۡمَ عَمَلِكُمۡ
May Allah take care your religion, your trust on Allah, and the end of your actions.
7. Dua for starting a new journey.
زَوَّدَكَ اللّٰهُ التَّقۡوٰى وَغَفَرَ ذَنۡبَكَ وَيَسَّرَ لَكَ الۡخَيۡرَ حَيۡثُمَا كُنۡتَ
God will give you Tawa that you fear, forgive your sins, and to simplify wherever there is good for you.
8.Dua for ease of travel for passengers and safe journey wishes in Islam.
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِطۡوِ لَهُ الۡاَرۡضَ وَهَوِّنۡ عَلَيۡهِ السَّفَرَ
O Allah! Give it to wrap the earth and make it easy to travel to.
Importance of dua in the travel passenger
There is no doubt in the acceptance of three dua, 1.oppressed dua.
2. Dua of passenger.
3.Dua of Father for the children.
Hand over his family in protection of Allah
أَسۡتَوۡدِعُكَ اللّٰهَ الَّذِيۡ لَا تَضِيۡعُ وَدَائِعُهُ
I hand over my family in protection of Allah, in Allah protection things are not lost.
9. Dua for traveling when passenger sit on car, bus,motorcycle and in plane.
بِسۡمِ اللّٰهِ، اَلۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰهِ، سُبۡحٰنَ الَّذِيۡ سَخَّرَلَنَا هٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقۡرِنِيۡنَ وَاِنَّآ اِلٰي رَبِّنَا لَمُنۡقَلِبُوۡنَ،
اَلۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰهِ three times
اللّٰهُ اَكۡبَرُ three times
،سُبۡحَانَكَ اِنِّيۡ ظَلَمۡتُ نَفۡسِيۡ فَاغۡفِرۡ لِيۡ فَاِنَّهُ لَا يَغۡفِرُ الذُّنُوۡبَ اِلَّا اَنۡتَ.
10. Dua of traveler for that who provide ride for him.
اَللّٰهُمَّ أَنۡتَ الصَّاحِبُ فِي السَّفَرِ وَالۡخَلِيۡفَةُ فِي الۡأَهۡلِ وَالۡحَامِلُ عَلَي الظَّهۡرِ اَللّٰهُمَّ اصۡحَبۡنَا بِنُصۡحٍ وَاقۡلِبۡنَا بِذِمَّةٍ أَعُوۡذُ بِكَ مِنۡ مِلۡحِ وَعۡثَاءِ السَّفَرِ وَكَآبَةِ الۡمُنۡقَلَبِ
O Allah! If the trip is to convince the partner and family succession and ride back, O God! He arrived back in our fellowship with benevolence and responsibility, we come back from a trip to labor and in your concern.
11. Dua of traveler protection from any hardship during journey.
اَللّٰهُمَّ أَنۡتَ الصَّاحِبُ فِيۡ السَّفَرِ وَالۡخَلِيۡفَةُ فِيۡ الۡأَهۡلِ اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيۡ أَعُوۡذُبِكَ مِنَ الضُّبۡنَةِ فِيۡ السَّفَرِ وَالۡكَآبَةِ فِيۡ الۡمُنۡقَلَبِ اَللّٰهُمَّ اقۡبِضۡ لَنَا الۡأَرۡضَ وَهَوِّنۡ عَلَيۡنَا السَّفَرَ
O Allah, You are (the) journey in (us) partner, is the guardian of the house, O Allah, verily I travel difficulties and hardship Thy protection from withdrawal problems, O God, the earth wrapped for us to give of our trip easier.
12. Dua for travelling of goodness and piety.
اللّٰهُ اَكۡبَرُ three times
سُبۡحَانَ الَّذِيۡ سَخَّرَ لَنَا هٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقۡرِنِيۡنَ وَ اِنَّا اِلٰي رَبِّنَالَمُنۡقَلِبُوۡنَ
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنَّا نَسۡأَلُكَ فِيۡ سَفَرِنَا هَذَا الۡبِرَّوَالتَّقۡوٰي وَمِنَ الۡعَمَلِ مَا تَرۡضٰي اَللّٰهُمَّ هَوِّنۡ عَلَيۡنَا سَفَرَنَا هٰذَاوَاطۡوِعَنَّابُعۡدَهُ اَللّٰهُمَّ أَنۡتَ الصَّاحِبُ فِيۡ السَّفَرِوَالۡخَلِيۡفَةُ فِيۡ الۡأَهۡلِ اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيۡ أَعُوۡذُ بِكَ مِنۡ وَعۡثَاءِ السَّفَرِ وَكَآبَةِ الۡمَنۡظَرِ وَسُوۡءِ الۡمُنۡقَلَبِ فِيۡ الۡمَالِ وَالۡأَهۡلِ
Glory be to Him who hath subjected it to us and we were not going to conquer it, indeed we are to return to their Lord, O Allah, surely we are of aurtquy good to you during this trip they ask you to do that which pleases. 13. Dua of traveler for his family.
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّي أَعُوۡذُ بِكَ مِنۡ وَعۡثَاءِ السَّفَرِ وَكَآبَةِ الۡمُنۡقَلَبِ وَالۡحَوۡرِ بَعۡدَ الۡكَوۡرِ وَدَعۡوَةِ الۡمَظۡلَوۡمِ وَسُوۡءِ الۡمَنۡظَرِ فِي الۡأَهۡلِ وَالۡمَالِ وَالۡوَلَدِ
O Allah, I seek refuge with you, I am traveling strongly and returning the grief and loss of profits and the curse of the victim and the family, wealth and children look bad scene.
14. Dua to save from sorrow, cheapness, stinginess and debt.
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيۡ أَعُوۡذُ بِكَ مِنَ الۡهَمِّ وَالۡحَزَنِ وَالۡعَجۡزِ وَالۡكَسَلِ وَالۡبُخۡلِ وَالۡجُبۡنِ وَضَلَعِ الدَّيۡنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ.
O Allah! Indeed, I will take refuge in the sorrow from grief, and from the obscure, and from the world, and from the dominion of the deceitful, and from the dominion of the people, and from the dominion of the people.
15. Dua to travel in river and ocean.
بِسۡمِ اللّٰهِ مَجۡرِهَا وَمُرۡسٰهَا اِنَّ رَبِّيۡ لَغَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِيۡمٌ.
Start travel in the name of Allah and to stay. Surely my Lord is Forgiving, Merciful
Rememberence of Allah during the Journey.
اللّٰهُ اَكۡبَرُ
Allah is the greatest.
سُبۡحَانَ اللّٰهِ
Glory be to Allah.
سُبۡحَانَ اللّٰهِ وَالۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰهِ وَلَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللّٰهُ وَاللّٰهُ أَكۡبَرُ
Praise be to Allah and praise be to Allah and there is no god but Allah and Allah is the Greatest.
16.Dua for traveling when encamping during journey.
أَعُوۡذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللّٰهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنۡ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ.
I seek refuge with all the words of Allah, from the evil of all that He has created..
17.Dua for traveling when returns back to home town.
رَبِّ أَدۡخِلۡنِيۡ مُدۡخَلَ صِدۡقٍ وَّ أَخۡرِجۡنِيۡ مُخۡرَجَ صِدۡقٍ وَّاجۡعَلۡ لِّيۡ مِنۡ لَّدُنۡكَ سُلۡطَانًا نَّصِىيۡرًا.
O my Lord! Enter me into the place of truth and take me out of the place of truth and provide me with the helping power from You.
رَبِّ أَنۡزِلۡنِيۡ مُنۡزَلًا مُّبٰرَكًا وَّ أَنۡتَ خَيۡرُ الۡمُنۡزِلِيۡنَ.
O my Lord! Thou bless me off place is the best place.
اَللّٰهُمَّ رَبَّ السَّمَاوَاتِ السَّبۡعِ وَمَا أَظَلَّتۡ وَرَبَّ الۡأَرَضِيۡنَ السَّبۡعِ وَمَا أَقَلَّتۡ وَرَبَّ الرِّيَاحِ وَمَا أَذَرَّتۡ وَرَبَّ الشَّيَاطِيۡنِ وَمَا أَضَلَّتۡ اِنِّيۡ أَسۡأَلُكَ خَيۡرَهَا وَخَيۡرَ مَا فِيۡهَا وَأَعُوۡذُ بِكَ مِنۡ شَرِّهَا وَشَرِّ مَا فِيۡهَا.
O Allah, the Lord of the seven heavens and the things over which they have overshadowed and the Lord of the seven heavens and the things which they have carried and the Lord of the winds and what they have blown and the Lord of the devils and those whom they have led astray. Yes, of course I ask you for the good of this town and for the good of that which is in it, and I seek refuge in you from its evil and the evil of that which is in it.
18. Dua of travelling Upon return trip.
آئِبُوۡنَ تَآئِبُوۡنَ عَابِدُوۡنَ لِرَبِّنَاحَامِدُوۡنَ.
We are going to return, we are going to repent, we are going to worship, we are going to praise our Lord.
اَوۡبًا اَوۡبًا لِرَبِّنَا تَوۡبًا لَّا يُغَادِرُ عَلَيۡنَا حَوۡبًا
We are about to return, we are about to return, we repent to our Lord, such repentance that leaves no trace of our sins.
