    Hadith No. 3

 Translation: Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A man came to the service of the government of the two worlds and said: My brother is suffering from stomach ailment. When he came for the fourth time and complained, the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: Your brother’s stomach may be lying. But the word of Allah is true, give him honey again, this time he went and when he drank honey, he was healed.

 In addition to knowing the benefits of honey in gastrointestinal diseases, this hadith also gives guidance to one of the most basic and important principles of medicine: It is very important for the medicine to be useful, as in the above-mentioned hadith, the use of honey for the fourth time helped to cure the disease.
